About the Property
Stuevollvegen 3 is an apartment building located close to the hospital in Molde. The building has six shared apartments spread across three floors. Each apartment has five bedrooms, so you will be sharing the flat with four others. There is a nearby bus stop with connections to Molde University College, and a grocery store is just around the corner.

Fire Safety

It is extremely important for your own safety—and the safety of others—that you familiarize yourself with the fire alarms and emergency exits in your apartment. Smoke detectors are installed in all units, but tenants are responsible for ensuring the batteries are working. We strongly encourage everyone to replace the batteries once a year. Don’t forget that “Smoke Alarm Day” is on December 1st each year.

Take care of each other:
Do not cook while intoxicated, and do not leave trash or large items near exits or in stairwells.

Fire Instructions – What to Do in Case of Fire:

  • Immediately call the fire department at 110.
  • Help evacuate anyone threatened by flames or smoke.
  • Attempt to extinguish the fire if it is safe to do so.
  • Close all doors and windows.
  • Meet and inform the fire department upon their arrival.

The designated fire assembly point is marked on the fire safety instructions posted on the inside of your door.

Note: Please be aware that if you request help with work that is not covered by the landlord’s maintenance responsibilities, the cost may be added to your rent for the following month. As of January 1, 2025, the rate is NOK 800 per hour, plus travel and materials.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited inside the rental unit and anywhere on our property.

If smoking is detected in the rental unit, it will result in consequences.

Internet Access

Internet is included in your rent. The Wi-Fi password can be found on the back of the router in your apartment.

If the password doesn’t work, it may have been changed by one of your roommates—so be sure to check with them first.

If that doesn’t solve the issue, please contact Telenor for assistance.

Keys

The main entrance is secured with a key via the Unloc app, which you need to download. Each bedroom has a lock with a private code.

You will be added to Unloc automatically. If you don’t see your key in the app one day before moving in, please notify us via the Hybel chat. Once your deposit is paid, you will receive your code from the housing mentor on Hybel.no.

Have you changed your phone number? Don’t forget to update it on Hybel.no!

Storage Units

There is access to storage units in the basement.

You will be assigned your own storage unit, labeled with your apartment number and room number.

Furnishing

The apartments have furnished common areas.

Here you will find:

  • Flat-screen TV
  • Sofa set
  • Dining table & chairs

We offer apartments with both furnished and unfurnished bedrooms. When signing your lease, you chose whether you wanted a furnished bedroom or not.

In furnished bedrooms, you will find a bed, desk and office chair, dresser, and wardrobe.

Kitchen

All our kitchens are equipped with a stove guard.

It detects if a cooking plate has been left on or if something is exposed to high heat for too long. The stove guard will first sound an alarm, prompting you to turn down the heat and/or press the stove guard button. If no action is taken, the stove guard will cut power to the cooking plate, and you will need to reset it before use can continue.

If the stove guard alarms without any obvious reason, it may indicate that the battery is low. In that case, the batteries must be replaced—this is the tenant’s responsibility.

Mail box

There are mailboxes located in the entrance area. You will be assigned a mailbox number and a code upon moving in.

Tenants are responsible for labeling their mailbox with their own name. We recommend ordering a personalized address label from posten.no.

Note: Writing directly on the mailbox is not allowed.

Parking

There is parking available between the buildings, near the trash bins.

Charging electric vehicles is not permitted.

Electricity

Electricity is included in the rent.

The circuit breaker panel with automatic breakers is located just outside your apartment. The panel is shared with the neighboring apartment, so please read the instructions carefully. If a breaker trips, try resetting it before contacting us. Be careful not to overload the breakers by using too many high-power devices at the same time.

Please remember that charging electric vehicles is not permitted.

Garbage Disposal

You’ll find the trash bins between the buildings, near Glomstuvegen 16.

We encourage everyone to sort their waste properly, fold cardboard neatly, and compress it as much as possible.

Remember, food waste bags from VESAR are free of charge.

Laundry Room

You will find a shared laundry room in the basement.

The washing machine must be cleaned after each use. This means the lint filter and water tank in the dryer must be emptied to prevent fire hazards, and any spills of detergent or cleaning agents should be cleaned up.

Set an alarm to make sure clean clothes are removed promptly once the cycle is finished. Clothes left for too long may be removed and set aside.
