Purchases 17 properties for over half a billion
Bo Coliving has recently completed a major acquisition in Bergen, securing 127 rental apartments spread across 17 properties. This acquisition doubles the number of rooms in our Bergen portfolio and marks an important milestone in our focus on professional rental housing for students.
Bo Coliving has purchased 17 properties in Bergen, adding 127 new apartments and doubling the number of rooms in our Bergen portfolio from approximately 250 to 600 rooms.
Bergen has proven to be an attractive yet fragmented rental market, and our goal is to provide professional rental housing to more students and young adults through our platform. The property deals were conducted with six different sellers, and we look forward to developing these properties into safe and modern housing. Among the purchased properties, several are located near our existing buildings on Nygårdsgaten, and we expect to take over the portfolio by autumn.
Following this acquisition, we will own more than 2,000 rooms across 75 properties in 14 Norwegian cities. Our strong financial backing and support from our owners, Heitman, enable us to further expand our presence in Bergen and other Norwegian cities.
